I was looking at loads of different IPS for my new fibre and I just used one of them sites that leak my details to everyone and started getting calls a few times a day for a week with deals, it was pretty handy, anyway dodo was so persistent the guy would call me and I was working and I'd say can you call me back at this time and he would then I said I need to think about it and call me back I didn't really want to go with dodo because I was with dodo with my ADSL and it was farrrrrout trash. So I was kind of playing him because he just wouldn't stop calling. All other companies just didn't call back after I said I'll think about it call me back, about 2 weeks later of this guy calling me up once a day or 3 times a week with my week excuses " oh I forgot my driver's licence call me back once I get home from work" and "sorry I'm at work now my boss is watching me he will kick my ass if I'm on the phone in work time"

And loads more legit for 2 weeks with excuses to call me back, he even called me back about 5 minutes before his shift finished to try make a sale, the convo went for about an hour so I'd say if he didn't get overtime he was really working for that sale.

So I really respected this guy. some over compaines didn't even call me after I left my number on the website to contact me during business hours about their deals so to have this guy put all this effort into getting me as a customer was great

I know I would he pissed off if I was him but he seemed very eager to get me on board.. he must run off commissions only or something but I definitely took up hours of his time.. Sort of like how some bosses like people to drop their resume into the shop and show face over emailing a resume ( I know more and more business don't allow this but some are run buy some old school people and love the old walk in with the resume in a nice shirt ready to go attitude that's how I landed my current job ;) side story to that sorry was I googled the owner and asked to speak with him and got an interview then and there and he called and gave me the job the next day, #introvertmeetingscarybossespaysoff but the funny thing was they had a manager who was advertising the position on seek and the manager was very but hurt that the business owner just gave me the job pretty much straight away while the general manager hadn't even started to go through the pile of seek applications. Oh well that was 4 years ago and still there while other seek seekers have been fired or quit so good tip to youngsters on here.

Anyway back to dodo Yes I decided to sign up with him but I made it hard I wanted a free couple of months free modem delivery.

On the last call before sign up I said ohhhh I donno I found this over ISP who is doing the same package but at a lower rate, Then the dodo sales man said okay how about I give you a free fetch media box. I was about worried about this because of sneeky fees when they say the terms and conditions really fast that you can't understand one thing...

I said mate if this fetch box is free and I don't have to pay a thing ever it's mine and I don't have to return it I will take it and go with your dodo internet package. He said yes that's fine the fetch is a gift and you will never have to pay for it aslong as you don't get the paid channels... It was free for a while.. hell good. But then today I got a bill and it was an $10 for the fetch box and that will be paid monthly untill my contract is up...
