- "At this moment, the issue of Addis Ababa is being brought up to demolish the unity of the people, so that we are distracted from current Agenda, using agendas that create conflict (yemiyabalu)."
- "Will the question of Addis Ababa be answered? Of course in detail, with transparency, and discussion with the people regarding the "special benefit""
- "Right now, that is not a major/ important agenda. The people who are creating this issue right now, the political strategists, those who dislike it when quiet/ peaceful ( chir sil alwodim) are creating these agendas and making us work on those agendas instead of the important agendas at hand"
- "The reform is going in ways that benefit the ethiopian people."
------||-------
- This issue did not arise until reports that Takele Uma's adminstration is evicting innocent residents who have lived here for generations surfaced without any options being offered and which had even lead to a loss the life of a small child through indirect contribution. So what instigated the outcry is not any one's agenda but the government's.
- When will it be answered?? If people are already being imported from other areas through affliation to the city with ID handouts which might alter the city's demography, votes, and several other issues while residents who have lived here for generations get evicted then what better time to answer these issues but now while these things are happening??
- When will falsely pointing fingers ever stop?? If the issue started due to eviction then concerned people have the right to question these tactics.
- Imposing ideas of "special benefit" that is not supported by the people, some thing which even the previous tyrant regime hasnt dared to do publicly is not "benefiting Ethiopians" it's benefiting a single group which is exactly what the people fought against.

When you are planning in business you always do a trend study. A trend study of the past 5 years then do a 5 year projection to move ahead.
Politics is a lot like business. Running an organization has lot of similarities with running a country and forethought is a necessary quality in leadership.
Right now Ethiopia faces a challenge to move ahead. This challenge is the consequence of decisions made almost 45 years ago when certain people made proposals and started writing based on ideologies of ethnic federalism and actively promoted it. This lack of forethough is what drowns us in the current problem we are in. This realisation alone should hint to us with what care our next step must be taken unless we dont care at all. But i care so wth...
The current non-ethnic federalism proposes going back to the old provinical adminstrative system. This begs a question, why did it fall apart in the first place if it was the right kind of adminstration?
Obviously the fact that it failed points to a problem. And If confronted with a problem, the first step in solving it is to first pin point it or identify the problem and where it started.
And even go further back in history to see where most of the problems arose. If these were collected a pattern would emerge. And this is a pattern that should be avoided at all cost for the well being of the country.
So what brought about the issues and question regarding ethnic rights and where exactly did it start?? If you had a map and a watch this would first point you north wards then southwards. These issues arose mainly in what is now Tigrai and Eritrea, while Oromia came along for the ride taking an active part. What about other historical issues of the country where and how did they arise ?? Build a pattern.
The object of the non-federalism (non ethnic federalism) idea is to be rid of ethic issues. But does it fulfill the objective it promises??? How can it when Tigrai will be left intact as an ethnic?? Along with other smaller groups?? It was not Amhara that created the ethnic issue leading to all these problems. And most know such questions in Oromia arose through innitial instigation of the north.
So if your objective is to create a non-ethnic-obsessed Ethiopia why leave these ethnics intact?? It almost feels like its designed to benefit you. But that is not how it works if you are a true patriot. This is also why you would see those who specifically spat at the idea of non-ethnic federalism suddenly embracing it.
As justice has not been thoroughly served, this allows some to keep their benefits along with their stolen stash and reap the benefits out of other regional resources while the economy of the rest has been eroded by them.
