As the title says.. I was a customer of Foxtels for several years, given that they bill you twice on the first month, when you cancel your account they will then owe you money. I cancelled my service back in November last year, in December and January I received statements saying that I was in $114 credit. I just assumed they would send me MY money.
But no, it turns out you have to ring and ask them to have YOUR money returned to you. The lady on the support line asked me several times would I like my money credited back to me.
Lesson learned, double check your accounts when dealing with these shady businesses.
