A quick question; how is this community used?

Less than two days ago, we saw a coup attempt in Gabon and now Tshisekedi has been announced as the president-elect of Congo-Kinshasa. The protests in Sudan have been ongoing for several weeks, demanding that Bashir step down, and Paul Biya just consolidated a new term as the Anglophone crisis threatens to spiral out of control. There's political instability and discontent across the continent. If Congolese launch unified protests demanding Fayulu be president, could that sort of movement spread to other countries, like Eritrea, Cameroon, or Chad? If it does, will Africans take lessons from the Arab Spring, or is it a different situation entirely?
