i’m looking for the name of a kind of thin round shiny cracker that my family used to eat with chopped liver and a little glass of cold vodka on shabbat before lunch. this was in israel in the 1990s.
i’m longing for these crackers — they were very very thin, round, crunchy, pale and glossy, and they came in a clear plastic bag with tons of them inside. almost like rice crackers, but thinner and with a strong rye flavor.
Anybody know what I’m talking about and can point me to a brand name? Thanks so much! (cross posted to r/ judaism )
