President Obama and Vice President Biden kicked off a new public-private effort to help hardworking Americans get ahead at work through a new initiative called Upskill. Yesterday, Vice President Biden traveled to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign today to speak about combatting sexual assault on college and university campuses. Seven months after joining President Obama to announce the It's On Us campaign, the Vice President recognized new commitments and progress that we've made on this critical initiative.
President Obama is working with Congress to secure the most progressive trade deal in history, the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). This deal includes 12 countries and offers us the greatest opportunity to level the playing field for American businesses and their employees, ensures the rights of workers around the world, protects endangered species and the environment, and would hold our trading partners accountable.
