Hello!
I am an RN currently living in Christchurch NZ and I am moving over to Melbourne with my partner in March-April (he is an Australian citizen).
I am aware that the paperwork side of things is relatively simple, however I wanted to see if someone could give me some information around nursing agencies and if anyone has any tips to help the move go smoothly. In terms of looking for employment I don't really know where to start.
I have 3 years experience in a busy surgical floor in a public hospital however when moving I am looking for a more community based role if possible (sexual health, women's health is my biggest passion).
Thanks in advance for any advice! :)

How can I increase my odds of finding one? This is so difficult lol I've been waiting for agessss
I’m a Cuban girl and Australia has been on my bucket list for a very long time. I am finally going to visit for the first time in a couple of months. I have some Aussie friends and I get on with them but they’re quite Americanized. I’m curious about what Australians (especially men) think of Latin American women. I’m guessing there aren’t many of us there, especially from the Caribbean part, so I just wanted to get an idea of what to expect.
Full disclosure: I’ve lived in the US for quite a while so my accent is pretty much American, though my Aussie friends sense a Spanish lilt to my American accent. They say it’s a lot more pleasant than a standard American accent. I guess I’ll find out when I’m there! Fingers crossed it’s not nails on a chalkboard. 😬

See here.
personally i don't think is going to fix the issues with people spreading the virus as they try to find RAT kits, or the opportunistic price gouging, but at least low income households can get *some* access to them.
