Over the past few days my 18yo daughter has eaten significant amounts of the butter mentioned in the Butter recall today. She has both upper and lower GI symptoms and has just developed an macular rash on her cheeks, similar to slapped cheek syndrome.
All online information I can find says "microbial contamination" - no mention of any specific organism. I have called Coles (the seller), Saputo (the manufacturer) and Food Standards (the regulator) and they all go to voicemail until tomorrow morning. The Poison Center has no more information than "microbial contamination".
Does anyone have any more information on this? If the authorities are so vague in their description, can I exclude Legionella, Brucella and other nasties that need treatment before Food Standards resumes their service tomorrow at 8am?
Anybody have an idea of the worst bottled water in Australia. What i mean is the PH Level and if there are any chemicals in them. I'm interested in knowing because Bottled Water tastes like crap to me.
Looking at a career change. My friends in this industry say start off with Cert 3, get a basic helpdesk job and branch off to other fields from there but others also say just skip to Cery 4 or Diploma. Also which is the better school? TAFE or Upskilled?
