Late October, just after the announcement that international flights would be back on from December I booked a flight through Qantas for February 2022 to Canada (return). The booking was paid using a mixed payment of points and cash.
The booking shows up in the Qantas profile but I can't manage it. As it says the booking is "processing"
What's stranger is that the $ transaction hit my account as pending then disappeared so I haven't been charged. I called up my bank and they said there's no charges pending, removed or anything from Qantas.
I don't know if I have the flight or not which is super confusing for booking accommodation.
I tried calling, twice, but the line cuts out after 20 minutes.
Does anyone know what's going on or at least how I can get in contact with Qantas?
Just got my first 5g capable device this week, was very surprised that whenever i pass into 5g territory everything runs laughably slow, if it all as pages or processes just timeout and fail. Did a speed test and got 180mb/ps down and 0.8mb/ps up... 4g gave me 120 down and 50 up in the same spot...
I looked into online and theres a tonne of stuff saying its fairly spotty amd unreliable as the size of the wave means it can travel far or permeate obstacles...
Anyone else had issues with 5g connectivity?
Im all for EVs & the end of fossil fuels as soon as feasibly possible, but I was hearing that we could be 100% running in EVs in less than 10 years time- how would it all work?
Of course it'd be a slow gradual phase out, but from what I've seen, there isn't a Tesla under 20k for sale, & I'd doubt thered be a wide range of second hand vehicles, let alone super cheap ones. That would be incredibly unfair on people who can't afford to buy a "new" vehicle
Sorry if this is a stupid question, or answers as easy as "we'll figure it out when we get there" but I'm just curious as to how you think it would roll out here in Aus.
I'm an american moving to australia next summer and was wondering if any natives could help me out in giving some pointers for someone moving from out of country. Things to expect, good and bad, financial pointers, sights to see, best cities for music and art? I appreciate it. Love you guys! Looking forward to getting roasted
