When I was five or six (1964 or 1965) my dad took on a walk through Melbourne and we actually saw a very weather-beaten old man writing in chalk on the pavement near the GPO. He wrote the word "Eternity" and moved on. It was my brush with an iconic piece of Australian history.
The old man was Arthur Stace. History records that he was a reformed alcoholic and barely literate. For 35 years he was inspired to write 'Eternity' in perfect copperplate in chalk on the streets. He mostly did this Sydney but I saw him when he did a rare visit to Melbourne (apparently "Eternity" is to be found on the inside of the big bell in the GPO clock tower).
He is said to have written 'Eternity' over half a million times.
I'm 16 and trying to get a car, to learn in. Haven't got much money and have trouble saving up as it's impossible to get a job right now. Just wondering if anyone has an idea on how long I'd have to wait before prices improve? Currently, even crap boxes are unaffordable.
Are they the same thing?
So me and my wife are both gamers and moving. The house we are moving into is not covered by nbn, but there are isps that provide fiber in that area the only one I’ve found so far is Testra through their velocity plans which is FTTP. iinet only provides broadband up to 20mb/s. Aussie broadband only ironically provides NBN plans so they aren’t an option. DODO also doesn’t cover that area. So I’m left with(that I know of) Telstra(fiber), iprimus(unsure), iinet(broadband) and optus(unsure). I’m not sure what else is available. But I haven’t heard anything good about Optus, Telstra, or iprimus. I’m currently with iinet nbn, but it’s unavailable where we are moving. Help please. Me and my wife both play on the xboxone. We are typically wired with Ethernet cables.
