I've recently received a job offer where the contract stipulates the pay is inclusive of all penalties. The job will most likely require weekend and late night/ early morning work. The award is the storage and wholesale award 2010 (yes, 2010). I'm unsure what level exactly. Is this allowed? The thought of working weekends without additional renumeration seems a bit off.

What is the equivalent for a civil engineer that's gonna be working in design and consulting? Is getting a masters ubiquitous?

Hey Aussie Redditors,
I'm planning to move out of home for this first time so I'm not too familiar with rental agreements and would love some advice from the community, particularly those who've house shared before.
The property in question is a large 8 bedroom home. I'd be renting out one bedroom on the second floor with an ensuite and shared balcony. Two rooms on the second floor are occupied by the landlord and their young family (they have a 2 year old) so I think I might be considered a boarder or lodger? I have no personal relationship with the rest of the tenants and they keep to themselves. The husband and wife have given me a copy of a one-page agreement they've written themselves but I'm wondering if there's anything suspicious about the terms or anything I should add. Here are the terms below:
I [name] agree to rent a room within the house at [address] for a minimum period of [number] months at the rate of [amount] per week;
Electricity, internet, water and gas are included in the rent;
Unless otherwise agreed, two week's notice of intention to terminate the lease is required by either party;
Rent is to be paid in advance every two weeks to the nominated bank account;
A bond of [amount] (2 weeks rent) shall be paid prior to the commencement of the lease;
The bond is intended to cover any damage caused by the tenant to the property, equipment or furniture in the property or if the room needs to be further cleaned after the tenant has vacated the room;
The bond will be returned to the tenant at the expiry of the lease provided that all rent has been paid and the room thoroughly cleaned. The tenant is responsible for any damage to the property;
The bond is not to be used in lieu of rent;
Carparking is on-street, not in the driveway;
Smoking and the use of illicit drugs is not permitted in the house or on any part of the property;
