Like how in US and Canada and Australia Asian people are like under an umbrella, like a mix of Chinese Vietnamese Japanese Korean Filipino etc
It’s almost weird how technically it’s more “Asian” whereas very few non Chinese live in parts of China, but they may meet Koreans or Japanese or Vietnamese more in USA instead. They may never heard of pho or had Korean food until they left Asia.
Singapore I know is mostly chinese, then Indian, then some Malaysians, Filipinos and a smaller amount of Koreans and Japanese. Some non Asians like white people. Never been to SG but I’ve beeb to Hong Kong which is mostly Chinese ofc, but some Filipinos and pockets of Koreans exist.
Shanghai has some Koreans and Japanese but more in Beijing.
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Bangkok I don’t know but I know not only Chinese, Thai and Malaysians live in said cities but Filipinos, and some Japanese and Koreans too but more so in international areas.
Tokyo also has some Chinese and Koreans, like 1% of each but it’s something.
