Im currently trying to move out and looking at bond cleaners, who on average are charging around $1100 for a 4 bedroom house with a $1250 bond on it.
If i have to get a bond cleaner then im willing to take hit but $1250 is a lot to piss away on cleaning if you can do it yourself.
Just wanted to know if anyone has had any success in doing their own bond clean, if its a good or bad idea and if you have any advice on how to do it.
(Also I have carpets which im happy to have professionally cleaned and I have to get a pest clean as well because of pets on the property)

I caught the last half of Dan Andrews press conference today where he answered questions. I’d like to see the first half but can’t figure out where to go for this. Help?

I recently bought some software from the USA on my NAB credit card and was astonished to find a $AU 67.26 + $AU 2.02 charge on a USD$39.95 purchase.
This equates to 20% fees off the xe.com rate at the time of the charge (July 1st)
NAB does list an international transaction fee on their website, but specifies 3%..

Does anyone remember that old ad where the Greek Australian guy does a wrap about making Souvlaki's at home? I've been trying to find it and it's really been in my head for a while. All I could find was a random transcript from a chess forum (?) post in 2004.
