This post isn't going to make me sound particularly intelligent.
I applied for a partner visa with my partner at the time in 2018. By 2019 it had not been granted. He had worked all over the world and so we had to get police checks for each country. He was getting angry with all the papers needed so I tried to get them all for him, contacting his old employers and paying Chinese agents for paper work for when he worked in China.
Finally he said that he wanted to be with other people until the visa came through. I was heartbroken but I had hoped that the visa would be granted before he could act on this. Then I found out that he had been using all the documents I had been getting so he could apply for a 2 year working visa in Canada. So I broke it off with him but I told him to cancel the visa as I had done so much. He said he would.
I later found out he didn't cancel the visa, it was granted and he didn't tell me and he was using it as a backup for if his canadian one didn't go through. I confronted him and he made up some silly excuse about it being too hard.
He said he was going to canada anyway and that he had to be in Australia by 5 July 2020 for it to be valid. But the other day a friend was asking what would stop him coming in on the visa anyway and I wasn't worried as that date has passed and I know he is still in Canada.
But when I logged in to our immi account even though it says first entry must be before 5 July 2020 it doesn't expire until 2024.

I mean, when the South Park episode "The F Word" came out, it resonated with me even as someone who was into cars. I never thought the "LOOK AT ME NOW PAY ATTENTION TO ME NOW" crowd could make it worse.
Naturally, if that's you: Fuck you, you desperate, delicate F Word. I hope you crash into the only other people impressed by your trash and you all burn to death together.
Everyone else, have a great evening!

Should I further my studies or work?
Hello everyone! Some background: 23F, living in Melbourne. I immigrated to Australia with my family under Business visa and on the way to get PR. I am a fresh graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting with distinction. After three years at uni, I realised I absolutely don’t like my major. I chose this major since I didn’t know what I really like at that time and everyone tell me it’s ‘practical’ though. Though I didn’t enjoy this major I forced myself to work hard to get a good WAM...
Didn’t expect that I am graduating in a pandemic and it’s damn hard to get a job. Most of the grad program ask for PR/citizen and the HR has no idea what is Business visa even though I explained I have unlimited working hours and on the way to get PR etc etc. They generally don’t want to take time to know that. I feel like I am stuck in limbo. I am thinking about getting a graduate certificate/master’s degree if I couldn’t get a job. *Yeah and most likely I could not get one.
I am wondering whether to study information systems/data science cuz I did one for my selective unit and I got HD. I found that’s quiet interesting but don’t know whether it will be very difficult for a student with accounting background when it comes to postgraduate level. Also want to know whether Information systems is a good major or not.
Really want to know more before I make the final decision since postgrad is so expensive.. Especially the unis are charging full fees for online courses during the pandemic. And no one knows when the pandemic will end!
Thank you for your advice!

I'm writing this on the behalf of my dad. He wants to write a will, essentially leaving every single thing he owns to one person, that being my mother(his wife). However, he's concerned about the possibility of my siblings contesting the will, and trying to take slices out of the inheritance.
Can someone shed some light on the best method to shut down these attempts, and make it as clear as possible that it is all owed to one person alone, and nobody else. How could one reduce, or eliminate the possibility of the will being contested. For the sake of argument, assume that the sibling will contest.

Just have been wondering about it for a while.
