I really don’t know where to start. I bought a car for my son on his 18th from a used car dealership. After the payment was made I left all the paperwork for him. As well as ensuring that he knows to transfer rego. However he just told me he didn’t do it after we were on the subject of his vehicle. I’m really worried that he may have fines or whatever charges that have been sent to the dealer. I’ve gotten onto it now. He said he hasn’t been contacted by the dealership and we haven’t received any letters or contact from them. Is it safe to say he hasn’t had any fees or fines if he hasn’t been contacted (he hasn’t left out city the entire time he’s had the car).
