I’ve always thought that people just live better in Europe, perhaps specifically Western Europe in cities like Berlin, Amsterdam, etc.? (e.g. beautiful cities with architecture beyond just North American concrete towers; appreciation for art and culture; living wage that enables you to ‘make it’ even if your parents aren’t rich; nice work culture that would never allow anyone to work more than 40 hours and mandated holiday that is more than 2 weeks per year) Is the grass really greener on that side of the pond, or am I being naive?
