I thought there was something up with my card - but no, it's wholly on Ebay's end of the deal.
This comes a day after receiving a mysterious email from PayPal, refunding my money on an item from Ebay - but I have never used PayPal and I never will.
I asked Ebay and they said they had no record of the refund. Now, when I try and buy a similar item, I get what I described above. The card is rejected over and over. It's a perfectly good card, used to buy shit on line almost every day without issue.
WTF is going on? Do they not want my business? What is the obsession with using PP? I don't need or want to use it. Why are they letting people try and use their cards with merchants that do not accept their cards (but don't say so)?
Do I have any grounds to make a complaint with the ACCC? All I wanted was a fucking set of dumbbells - and that was over a week ago. This is bullshit - why is my money no good all of a sudden?
