I have today been told that woolies are slowly resuming online deliveries. Starting tomorrow they will be resuming with AM Deliveries. Today I made PM Deliveries.
At this point, I'm not sure if it will be open to all, or still being restricted to select customers.
Woolworths have brought in a new process for Home Delivery Customers.
Crate to Bench is No Longer available.
Drivers are NOT to deliver into a customers house. Drivers may breach this policy if they see fit, for example, for senior citizens or those with disabilities only.
Drivers are to keep a minimum 1.5m distance from customers at all times, 2m would be preferred.
Drivers are no longer required to gain a signature from customers.
Drivers are no longer to accept bags from customers.

Please, bare with us, we in the delivery departments of Woolies & Coles are working as hard as we can.
There is a drive for new drivers to come on board. But, we as drivers won't be immune to COVID-19. I as a driver, expect to see many of my fellow drivers fall ill, and will be taking time off. This will mean many of us may be working DOUBLE SHIFTS. We may be tired, but we will continue to do out best.
If you are ordering online, please be aware of our new policies. Don't get pissed at the driver who refuses to carry your shopping inside. Don't get pissed at the driver if 1/2 of your order is unavailable. The guys at a store level are packing what they have.
I will continue to update Reddit as information becomes available.

Now that travel advice has been upgraded to level 4 ‘Do Not Travel’ worldwide. You in theory should have an easier time claiming unrecoverable costs from your insurer.
I’ve got a trip I’m due to take at the end of April and now have the cancellation process ahead of me.
Anyone else in a similar position?

I've seen a LOT of stories of how shops won't touch or accept reusable coffee mugs or personal shopping bags anymore due to coronavirus risks, so what's the bet we'll see the return of single-use plastic bags again soon? :)

My workplace just rang me and said there would be no hours available for the next few weeks as their income would be severely affected by covid-19.
Any advice on where to go from here, would anywhere be hiring? Would I be able to claim Centrelink even though I wasn’t let go?
