Sounds like a sensationalist title, but this is a genuine question.
Is the NBN up to the challenge of masses of people suddenly being isolated, working from home and watching endless hours of Netflix, Youtube and whatever else takes their fancy?
Working from home - suddenly you've got a heap of users that would otherwise be accessing corporate networks trying to work via their home NBN connections. Citrix is pretty data-heavy (not that everyone would be using it) - surely there will be a heap of extra traffic.
Streaming services - you've got a gazillion people cooped up at home trying to stay sane and entertained. Surely that will generate a heap of extra traffic.
4G / 5G services - yeah they're quick, but they also get saturated quickly.
Are the services up to scratch, or is our blatent short sightedness about to come home to roost?
