My friend's mum went out with Greg Wiggle in high school.

So, I'm sick. Symptoms match. Called my hospital, they don't do testing, gave me a phone number. No answer. Looked online. List of places that do it. Not one place answers the phone. Called the 1800 health line number. Select correct options. Call disconnects. Try again. Same thing...
So why is it this disorganised?

Just some uplifting news amidst the madness and panic surrounding the Dreaded Lurgi -
I work in administration for an organization in Sydney that delivers meals-on-wheels. We've just received news that next week we will get a free shipment of toilet paper to be distributed to our meal recipients (a 4-pack each), courtesy of Woolworths. Not sure if they're providing to other charities or in other areas, but it's right decent of them to give some away to people who really need it before the hoarders can get their grubby paws on it.

Sounds like a sensationalist title, but this is a genuine question.
Is the NBN up to the challenge of masses of people suddenly being isolated, working from home and watching endless hours of Netflix, Youtube and whatever else takes their fancy?
Working from home - suddenly you've got a heap of users that would otherwise be accessing corporate networks trying to work via their home NBN connections. Citrix is pretty data-heavy (not that everyone would be using it) - surely there will be a heap of extra traffic.
Streaming services - you've got a gazillion people cooped up at home trying to stay sane and entertained. Surely that will generate a heap of extra traffic.
4G / 5G services - yeah they're quick, but they also get saturated quickly.
Are the services up to scratch, or is our blatent short sightedness about to come home to roost?

I have weddings booked every weekend until may including travel to NZ and other states, every weekend ill be surrounded by 100 or so people who could have traveled from numerous places
How do i even manage this, being self employed its different income wise but also I don’t want to get sick or pass it on, i wonder how long it will be until they cancels events like weddings because honestly its a breeding ground, hugs and kisses after the ceremony along with being drunk, sharing bodily functions and being closely congregated
This is fucked.

[Serious] Why are you overpaying for your phone plan when you can get unlimited talk, text and data for less?
