The Australian government has announced that they will evacuate Australian citizens, including children, from China. They will be held on chistmas island for quarantine.
There seems to be a bit of a discrepancy between how these two groups are being treated.
I can help but think seriously about the
concern raised by one citizen, who says:
“We are not prisoners, how could they treat us in a detention centre rather than a proper medical facility?...The Government wouldn't send its citizens to Christmas Island detention centre if those who are trapped in Wuhan were white Australians”.
I suppose it would help justify running an otherwise
empty centre.
What are your thoughts?
Edit: Also, the 32 players and their staff arrived directly from
Wuhan.
