I have been living in Asia for 1.5 years now. Often I am required, expected, or just have the only option to sit on the floor cross legged. However it’s very uncomfortable, either my knees hurt or my legs go numb. Otherwise if it’s on tile the pressure rod my knees on my feet hurt. Are there any tips for becoming more accustomed to commonly sitting on the floor. I thought doing it often would help, but it has not so much. Still sitting for long periods of time is uncomfortable and involves a lot of fidgeting or readjusting. And eating an entire meal and sustaining a conversation in this way is near impossible. I try to always maintain levels of respect but sometimes it’s difficult. Any tips for being better at sitting on the floor properly? I’m not old or over weight.I am 24,but I am over 6’ tall and I am not the most flexible. Any tips for becoming better at sitting for extended periods of time?
