Just got a call from 0261003068 with the usual ATO Scam saying that I have a warrant for my arrest. They asked for my address and now the weird part they wanted to know my lawyers name and phone number. Of course everything I have them was made up, but I suspect they are now writing me a letter from my "lawyer" saying how I should pay X amount into a bank account to resolve the case.

So if you get the call with a computer voice saying you have a warrant out for your arrest, just ignore it. It is a scam, the ATO and officer Dave in this case don't exist and if they did I am sure you would have had official letters well before today.
