I’m working in a research lab and I have two girls working in the lab with me that are from Iran! They seem a little culture shocked and I’m afraid they don’t really know what to do after work or on the weekends. I’m afraid they’ll feel unwelcome and might want to leave the program early. I know for a fact one is homesick.
My question is, what do ya’ll recommend I take them to do? Would it be rude to ask if they would like to hangout? Go to the movies? Probably shouldn’t take them to a bar right? I’m sorry if these are stupid questions but I’m genuine here.
