Hi! So I'm a student of two majors (International Relations and Middle-Eastern Studies) and I'm in the process of creating my research project for my master's thesis and I struggle with coming up with a cool, up-to-date, not too broad topic. My interests focus on diplomacy, political systems and especially the foreign policies of the Middle East, particularly Lebanon, Jordan and Oman. I'm also very interested in European integration, so my very first idea was to write about the relations of the European Union and some Arab countries, or the region in general? My supervisor isn't really helpful, he only suggested to narrow the topic. What aspect of these relations would be the best to focus on, in your opinion? Of course I'm open to other ideas, not just related to EU-MENA relations. I just would like to write something that won't be repetitive, so any suggestion would be appreciated.
