Macron, the alleged EU reformer and darling of the mainstream press, currently tries to undermine the lead candidate system by proposing tons of candidates that havnt even been running as lead candidates for the post as Commission President. It seems he prefers to return to the policy of EU backroom deals instead of making the EU system more democratic and transparent.
Personally I am quite dissappointed about his stance and wont support his EU "reform ideas" any more since I dont want an undemocratic centralist EU (but a federalist democratic EU). Whats your opinion?
