I have lived all over SE Asia and the Vietnamese people are the rudest, nastiest people by far especially towards certain outsiders(non-white Caucasian people). It is a vicious society of thieves and liars. They are immature and irresponsible people who try to cause you grief at every turn. I will never return there. They have a 5% return rate vs Thailand’s 40% return rate for tourism. I think the numbers speak for themselves. I hate to say it, but I find many Vietnamese rude and unfriendly. They don’t have the human element at all. They are money-minded and suspicious of outsiders. Taxi drivers have screamed at me and said bad things about my country. They call themselves friendly and open minded but the feeling is far from genuine and warm. Even the Vietnamese living overseas are discriminatory towards Cambodians from Cambodia, same is the case with the Chinese. Very disappointing , especially for a country that survives on tourism. Uniquely unwelcoming.

So, after living in Asia 4.5 years, a very interesting top was raised while I was in Vietnam. That being White privilege.
A Vietnamese vlogger raised the issue in a video entitled "Why Every White guy in Asia is a Loser." It was viral.
As a so-called Black guy, I chimed in on the subject because it has gained momentum in China, where they label many "White" foreigners "Losers Back Home."
In any event, I discussed my observations in an article:

Me and my girlfriend want to go to Asia in September. My girlfriend likes to go to Bali for one month because of it's nature. When I searched for more information and told someone about our plan it is like as if Bali is nice for about 2-3 weeks and Thailand for 3-5 weeks.
Last year we already explored a lot of countries in Europe and this year we would like to relax a bit more than travelling day in day out. We are doubting as both countries are really different from each other. My girlfriend likes to go to Bali but I think Thailand is also really nice. Do you think it is nice to explore both in +- 30 days or do you have another recommandation?
Thanks in advance!
