European Parliament Elections: What if I am not living in my home country?

Hey guys,

hope you are all doing amazing! Spring time is hitting us all and it feels great!

Me, I am a Danish Citizen living and working in Germany. Some months ago I registered as a foreign voter and just a few days ago I received my invitation for voting for the EU parliamentary elections.

But I am unsure of how to prepare? I am doing research on Danish candidates and German candidates. As a EU citizen living abroad, am I voting for my own nationals or German representatives? I am confused.
