So I’m moving back after 2 years in Canada, (originally from Perth), and deciding where to go. I did a season at Falls Creek a few years back so that or Perisher is an option but apparently supposed to be pretty crappy for snow this year so not sure. Bringing the Canadian misses back with me and we’re gonna end up in Manly for summer but til then undecided!

Hi all,
Today I had my visa approved and will be emigrating to Qld (Excited much). I have been advised by my new employer to open a bank account before I leave. I have researched and can do this with every single big Australian Bank.
However, which one is the best? NAB, Westpac and ANZ seem to be the easiest ones for me but I have no idea? Any help is greatly appreciated

Anyone have any advice on what it’s like doing a video interview for the place? Or Video interviews in general? Never done one before.
What should I even be expecting?

Netflix, HBO etc save the good shit for American/overseas markets. If you use a VPN you can pretend to be in the US/wherever the good content is and access their libraries. The more you know!

Was listening to 720AM in the car for the footy, didn't change channels after I got out the car. When I drove again later that day, 720 was still on and this song 'Shadows on the Hill' by Troy Cassar-Daley was playing. It really intrigued me, i don't typically listen to country music. In fact my 2 main genres are metalcore and progressive-rock. However, i'm a bit of a sucker when it comes to minimalist music. Once the music hooked me, the lyrics also got me curious.
The song is about the story of an aboriginal people, Gumbaynggirr, the group of people's whom Troy is part of (through his mother). Whom were massacred in the late 19th century, i believe. I'm struggling to find solid details about it. Would be great if anyone knew more about it than i do.
I thought some of you might like it. Shares a bit of history of Australia through music, which is not something i come across too often.
