What’s easier to get in Australia? A hostess job or working as a waitress? I would assume hostess jobs are less common to come around? What is their pay like and what qualifications should they have? What’s the pay like for hosts in fine dining restaurants & what experience should they have? (Host as in those who answer phones, walk guests back to their tables, work the front desk in restaurants) Thanks!

Hello ! just wondering if any redditors from Australia aged 18-25 would be interested in taking part in this super quick survey for a university project I'm doing about fake news.

Hi all... this has been bugging me for a while. I feel like a bit of a dumb cunt when it comes to voting to be honest. I want to make sure I make a more selective vote for this election.
Do any of you plan your vote before federal elections? Particularly if you choose to vote below the line in the senate vote? How do you research your selections and make sure it counts without stuffing up the numbers and make sure it counts?
I've read the instructions here https://www.aec.gov.au/Voting/How_to_Vote/Voting_Senate.htm and understand the concept but is there any tool or method that allows you to research the candidates, make note of order of preference before you go to a polling point?
Any advice appreciated. Thank you.

Does anybody know where the hell I can find today's newspaper (Telegraph and The Australian)?. I just need a Newspaper for today. Nan is bored and would appreciate seeing certain sections of another day's paper. It makes her feel good that she's still living another day.

I bought a unregistered vehicle and it is compulsory to put 12 months registration on it, Can I buy a 6 months Green slip policy and put the 12 months compulsory rego on it ? Then after 6 months buy another ctp policy
I know it’s confusing but I recently lost my job and I’m having a hard time getting through, I bought a car to help find a new job.

Hi all, I live in regional Australia. Ever since our ISP was bought out our connection speeds have been woeful. When we call for tech support they blame the NBN and say it's out of their control. Is this true or is it time to change ISP, and does anyone have any recommendations?
