Dunno why this wasn't reported as Adelaide's new heat record. If it was wrong you'd think the record would have been removed, or had a footnote.

TLDR: HOW DO I CONVERT MY GRADES TO AN ATAR?
I'm currently a 1st year post secondary student in Canada, but I only have 1 semester's worth of credits. When I asked for info to apply for USyd, I was told that considering this, my high school marks would also be considered. However, since we obviously use a different grading system, I'm having trouble converting my marks to an ATAR. I'm aware that they will do it for me during the actual application process, but I wanted to see for myself to see my chances of getting accepted.
I currently have an offer to another university(but in Canada), and if my ATAR is too low, then it would probably mean that I'm less likely to be accepted to USyd, and that I should just take the offer. Anyways, if anyone has a link to a converter, or knows how to do it, then let me know! And yes, I did try to look this up but I'm fairly confused by this entirely new grading system. Here are the classes and grades for my last year. Also, feel free to share any admission info for USyd (Business)!
Grade/Year 12 Marks:
English: 88
Maths: 85
Health Care: 95

Title says it. I'm a world-traveler but never been to Australia before and I'm just wondering whether or not it would be a horrible idea to plan on leaving the Sydney Airport for a few hours to enjoy a few surrounding parks or restaurants or recommended attractions nearby. Thanks for any help!

I have worn thongs (flipflops, jandles) for years, in fact I often bushwalk in thongs. About 10 years ago I started finding I was allergic to many kinds. Especially the cheap ones, like most double pluggers. It seems to be the much more rubbery ones. When I wear them any place my skin contacts them it gets red and blisters or cracks. This is a hassle because it's my footwear of choice.
I wonder if I'm the only one or other people have found this too.

I was told on the phone that there would be no waiting period. After I signed up and they payment was taken, I called back to confirm everything and was told there will be a 12 month waiting period.
I sent an email to the Ombudsman, has anyone else had similar trouble?
