Hello, I hope this is the right sub. I would like to buy a few CDs from a store that looks like it will only sell to people in Japan. However, their contact information is missing, so I'm not sure if the site is defunct. Regardless, I can't buy from them because although I've used Google translate, it won't accept my United States shipping address. Here is the address:
Timebomb Records ル ウ ル 542-0086 Osaka City Chuo Ward Nishi Shinsaibashi 2-9-28 Sanbowl B1
Maybe someone who lives near there can find out if they're still around. What I'm looking to ask is if someone would send me an invoice through PayPal, buy the CDs, and then send them to me. I can give you some money for yourself as an incentive.
I'm not sure where else to post this, but I really hope someone can help me.
Thank you.

My sister is learning Japanese and she told me that Japanese use hiragana katagana and kanji to write, and even they have some problems to write and understand each others with this system.
So as an European this was a shocker (God bless the Latin alphabet) and by doing some research I found out that together with hiragana katagana and kanji, Japanese also have romaji, basically they translate their sentence using the latin alphabet. (Ex: watashi wa Errico desu)
So knowing that their writing is complicated even for them, why bother? Why don't they just use romaji and write in hiragana katagana and kanji only for culture related stuff like weddings and festivals?
By doing so they will obviously ease their everyday writing and also made easier to communicate with foreign people.
Un saluto dall'Italia!

I was trying to ask if I can try out for this trial lesson at a certain time. She answers “ muzukashi” and whatever. Why can’t they just say that they aren’t available that day in a normal tone rather than using the euphemism of it? I don’t understand. I don’t know why I hate it, but I just do.

Hey all.
I am currently studying in Korean High School and seeking ways to try to apply for the GIGA program for Keio Uni.
I tried to search some info up but there were none in Korean and not so much more in English as well.
Well here are some questions I wanna know;
How much will the Standardized Test Score & English Language Proficiency Test Result effect the results?
What are some key parts that I need to add in to my Three-minute self-introductory video?
I would really appreciate it if you people could provide me info to get prepared :)

It seems that most people disagree with traditional Chinese medicine. Click Here for some info about traditional Chinese medicine.
Some experiments have shown that acupuncture and moxibustion can relieve pain, but now no experiments have proved that they can treat the causes of pain.
What do you think?

On Wednesday, a senior Chinese official responsible for Tibet praised development in the Himalayan region, led by China He gave out a statement saying that those who accuse China of violating human rights in Tibet have been “bewitched” by the Dalai Lama, the Tibetan spiritual leader.
The remarks along with a report by China's Cabinet came following a disclosure report from the United States severely criticising Chinese hold of Tibet. US government issued this on Monday accusing China of impeding the American diplomats and officials’ visit to the region and for restraining journalists from making independent assessments of Tibetan people’s lives in 2018. The report also revealed that on the approved official visits, Chinese security personnel followed the US diplomats closely and blocked access to certain areas even outside the Tibetan Autonomous Region. Among the major critics of Chinese control over Tibet is the United States, which say that China rules authoritatively and abuse people’s rights.
Tibet’s executive vice governor Norbu Dondrup also rubbished human rights violation complaints with respect to Tibet stating the human rights situation was quite good in Tibet as can be noticed by free medical care and abundant availability of food.
Dondrup reviewed development in the region in terms of economy, health care and education since 1959, which marks 60 years since the suppression of an uprising against Communist’s rule. He was very critical of the self-declared government-in-exile established by Buddhist leader the Dalai Lama as illegitimate.
Dalai Lama is on exile in India since he crossed the border on March 31, 1959, after a failed uprising against the Chinese rule. China vituperates the Dalai Lama as the government sees him as a dangerous separatist.
Dondrup said that Tibetan society was “very dark and very cruel” before the Chinese rule, as any ordinary person - or “serfs” - could be bought and sold, thrown in jail, or even killed, during the Dalai Lama rule.
He added, “The Dalai Lama attacking our human rights totally has ulterior motives. He tramples on human rights, and has no right, no qualifications, and is unworthy of talking about human rights.

Does anyone recognize where this picture was taken or at least what part of Asia this may be based on the writing in the background on the other buildings? Thank you so much
Ps, maybe point me to the subreddit that can help me if this one can’t.
