I am currently a junior studying mechanical engineering in the USA. Unfortunately, I have not found an internship for this upcoming summer (I am still looking). My plan B is to go to Taiwan and visit my girlfriend for the duration of the summer, so I am trying to find something to do during this time that could boost my resume and help me find a full time job in a year. It is important to note that I am a U.S. citizen without a Taiwan ID card thus I am ineligible to work. I was wondering if there's any good volunteering opportunities out there relating to mechanical engineering. My Chinese speaking/listening ability is intermediate.
Thanks!
大家好! Later this year I'm heading to Taipei to study for a year. I take multiple prescription medications daily and I'm just wondering the procedures of how to bring them with me when I travel from the UK. Is there anywhere I can find a list of controlled medications? I assume I'll have to bring a prescription for all my medication, but how much can I bring? For example, can I bring a whole year's worth? Do I have to declare my medication at the airport upon entry? I've done a lot of googling but I just can't quite find any definitive answers. Thanks for any help!
