So my wife and I have a shared phone plan. We also turn our phones off for 25 hours every Friday night / Saturday night as a bit of "screen free" time. It's a religious thing.
When I turned my phone back on late last night I received multiple text messages from Optus, starting at 3am the night before (our phones were off prior to this), saying we're going over our data limit.
In the end, we were charged an extra $20 for using too much data _while our phones were off_.
I know that if I go into a store they'll just put me on the phone with support. And if I call, I'll just be on hold and passed from person to person for a few hours and nobody will be able to do anything. Best case they give me a little credit.
What's my best path for recourse here?
