Do the countries in Europe hold grudges with each other from WWII or is everyone over that?

Hello,
I'm looking for help preferably someone friend form Norway to explain to me how are taxes made in their country I'm trying to make a comparison how much is the difference of taxes compare to other countries. as Norway supposedly have highest taxes in all countries around, and that maybe true according to this source.
but my problem is they comparing over a half a million income. No real person makes that much in middle class.
I was thinking maybe make a comparison on $100k for easy calculation. (855834 NOK) if lot of People in Norway make that much money. for a single person no kids, to make it simple, maybe later we could add deduction if someone willing to do some number crouching with me.
I went on wiki, and I have learned that you have a flat national Tax rate ( alminnelig inntekt) ) of 23% for most of the country.
so out of 855 834 NOK * 23% = 196841.82 NOK
is this right so far?
then you have a so called income bracket tax (trinnskatt) I guess its a bracket taxation?
for the first bracket you are taxed 1.4%
0 -169 000 * 1.4% = 2366 NOK
second bracket
169 000 -237 900 * *3.3% = 2273.7 NOK
Third bracket
237 900 - 598 050 * 12.4% = 44658.6 NOK
forth bracket since we still have income that qualify for that.
598 050 - 855 834 * 15.4 = 39698.736 NOK
now my confusions come with Social security, and medicare(i guess they are in one bucket) I read that you pay half and another half is covered by your employer Also i'm quite confuted about the standard deductions as well I see you have 2 deductions, minimum standard deduction and personal allowance.
So for personal allowance it is 54 750 NOK that means that i subtract that sum from my original sum 855 834?
and in what circumstance you deduct minimum standard deduction what type of deductions are they? also when your do do you take take with ever is greater? of you add Personal allowance + minimum standard deductions and then subtracts from original sum?
as for national insurance I'm also confused. This what they say on wiki " social security contribution is paid at a leveling rate of 25% (of the income above 54 650 NOK) until this gives a higher total tax than using the standard tax rate on all personal income. Then the general rates are used
what do they mean 25% leveling rate? is it 25% of the original sum?
I guess general rates means 8.2% of the original sum? is it after deduction? I would relay appreciate if someone helped me out with this. Thank you.
