I'm going to be spending two to three weeks there. Right now I have no solid itinerary as I'm still doing research. I know I'd like to see some of the major cities, Perth/Sydney/???. I'd also like to dive at the great barrier reef, and do some kind of nature excursion inland. I'm just looking for any good advice or recommendations. Thanks in advance!

At my partners family lunch they serve well done beef and lamb, nobody seems to have a problem with it. I just pretend I don’t eat red meat and fill up on any chicken or salads..

Hi all,
I am a 462 visa holder working part time in NSW. I have noticed most of my paychecks have no tax being taken out of them. In fact out of 8–10 paychecks only 2 have had a tax charge. The total amount of money that has been taxed is about 6%.
From my understanding I should be paying a 15% tax on all my income up to $37,000?
Thank you for any responses, I am trying to understand when and how much I may be taxed so I can budget accordingly.

Yesterday I posted about wanting to move from my home in America to Australia (or more specifically, work there on a Working Holiday Visa) short term and asked for some tips and expectations. Over the last few years my grandfather has expressed interest in coming along with, mainly so he could metal detect, specifically for gold.
Would he have to attain a visa in order to do this, or would he be able to come on an extended vacation and do so? Does he need some sort of permit/license? Is it even allowed for foreigners to metal detect? Any answers are helpful; thanks in advance!
