Hi,
I'm currently deciding between Usyd and Monash, and it'd be greatly appreciated if you guys could give me a bit of insight on both schools with respect to employability (career support, project opportunities, industry placement etc...), study abroad programs and teaching qualities.
At Usyd, I'll be studying Bsci (computer science or data science) with marketing major - double major, and at Monash, I'll be studying Bcompsci with data science specialization.
I heard that Monash offers professional year for this degree, so I think that's pretty useful, but the stats show that Usyd stands in better position regarding graduate employability. So, reading off internet, both schools look pretty much the same, so I'd really appreciate if I could hear from someone with experience perhaps?
Thanks in advance!!!

Optus plan change "stuck" for 6 months. The only thing stuck is me having to chase them up every few weeks.
Has anyone here had any experience with plan changes that are stuck in limbo? I have ended up being on the road a lot over the past 12/18 months and have increased my monthly data usage due to not habing constant access to wifi. With paying a few larger bills due to excess data usage, I decided that it was going to be in my best interest to upgrade my plan to incorporate more data. I was on a $90 a month plan that had 12gb, which I was on a rolling contract and decided to change to a $130 pm plan that included 30gb of data. $130 may seem excessive, but I was easily using nearly 20gb a month of data, so it was still saving me money. This was the 20th of May. In June I recieved a bill that wasn't charged at the $130 plan rate. So after some backward and forwarding I got my excess data credited back onto my account, paid my $90 bill and was assured the plan would take effect the next month. July rolled around and the same thing happened. I talked to numerous representatives, they apologized, explained that the plan was stuck for some reason, that it would be sorted within 5 business days and that I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore. Two weeks later I noticed that my Optus widget on my phone still hadn't updated to represent the 30gb data metering, so I contacted them again. Nothing had been done, the plan was still stuck. I grew frustrated and askes how much it would be to terminate my service with Optus - $45. I began looking at plans available and saw Optus actually offered a BYO handset plan with 30gb data for $36 a month. Almost exactly the same plan that had been offered to me for almost $100 more a month. I asked that my plan be cancelled and to be put onto the $36 dollar plan. I was informed that this would be put into action within 5 business days as they needed time to cancel the current plan. Skip forward to today and many phone calls and chat sessions later - I'm waiting on the Telecomunications Ombudsmen to sort this all out. Not only has the plan only taken effect this month, it's the wrong plan ($130) AND they have back billed me for $130 a month dating back to May.
TLDR Optus customer service is dead
