VietPress USA (April 20, 2018): On Thursday, March 8th, 2018, President Donald Trump received a personal letter from North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un handed over by South Korean National Security Advisor Chung Eui-Yong at a meeting in the White House’s Oval office.
After the meeting with President Trump, Mr. Chung Eui-Yong told reporters outside the White House that he handed over a personal letter from North Korea’s Leader Kim Jong-un to invite President Trump for a State visiting North Korea to discuss on denuclearization.
The White House confirmed that President Trump has accepted Kim Jong-un's invitation to meet in Pyongyang and the summit will be organized in May 2018.
On April 17, 2018, President Trump welcame back new FBI Director Mike Pompeo who just visited North Korean government for arranging the coming summit between President Donald Trump and North Korea's Leader Kim Jong-un to be organized in Pyongyang in early May 2018.
Today the South Korea’s Yonhap agency reported that since April 21st, 2018, North Korea will suspend its Missile and Nuclear tests and to shut down the Nuclear test site for awaiting the summit with US President Donald Trump for negotiation of denuclearization
