President Obama is in Camden, New Jersey today to talk about the promising progress the city is making in building trust between law enforcement and the community. That progress includes capitalizing on the Police Data Initiative to use smarter, more data-driven ways of improving community policing efforts and reducing uses of force.

From Oregon to South Dakota to Camp David, the President crisscrossed the country to talk about the many ways we can move this country forward. He also managed to visit his 50th state, a geographical threshold only three other Presidents have met.
In his weekly address, the President highlighted the importance of expanding opportunity for all Americans -- a principle that has guided his work throughout the past six years.
On Friday at the U.S. Capitol, President Obama paid tribute to the 131 peace officers who died in the line of duty this year and met with the families of the fallen law enforcement members.
