On last Feb. 23rd, 2012, I just received your special gift of “2012 Commemorative Presidential Print” from the fine art on the White House Rose Garden, presented to Hanh Duong by President Barack Obama and the Democratic National Committee; attached together with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Artist Dan P. Kressler and Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, DNC Chair. At the same time, I also received your letter addressed to me that made me much honored and so proud of you.

Since that day, I always voluntary help you because I believe that you are the greatest American President who will devote your heart to our Vietnamese and poor people of the World. Therefore I have received your personal letter and your special photo signed for me to mark our cooperation during your Presidential first Term

To prepare your Presidential second term, I have involved in your “ObamaForAmerica” Campaign 2012 by using my Press & Media network to convince our readers, audiences, colleagues, friends, relatives and Vietnamese American voters to support your re-election. American people and all the World know exactly that you took over the U.S. Presidential office at the time the whole United States sunk in the ruin to the bottom such as Economic crisis; terrorist attacked the WTC; foreign debts; jobless; foreign wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc.. that are not caused by you. You regain the power of America to the World; you have created the jobs to Americans; you killed Osama Bin Laden and almost terrorist leaders; you brought back our American Warriors from foreign wars; you provided healthcare program to American seniors and poor people; and now you are fighting for the fair Tax to the Americans.
One Presidential term of 4 years is not enough time for you to complete what you have dedicated not only to Americans and to the United States, but also to the World as well.
As a Vietnamese American, I want to speak out on behalf of my relatives, friends, and to reflect the will of majority of the Vietnamese people in Vietnam mainland as well as Vietnamese foreigners on over the World to thank you for you and your Administration to declare the American most power returning to Asia and to protect Vietnam from the invasion of red China on the East Sea.
I understand that the foreign relation policy of the United States is never involving in any politic regime of any foreign country; but America and Americans always concern to the freedom, democracy and human rights Worldwide.
My family, our Vietnamese Americans throughout the United States and all other American Tax payers never want and will never allow you and your Administration to spend any American Tax money to support the Communist Government in Vietnam while Communist dictators continue to destroy democracy, freedom and human rights in Vietnam.
When red China drew a “cow tongue line” on the East Sea of Vietnam for invasion, American Government and other ASEAN Countries have proposed a multilateral talk to settle the conflict... while China and Vietnam requested just a bilateral negotiation! Communist government of Vietnam added the 6th small yellow star to the red China flag when Hanoi organized a big welcoming Vice President Xi Jinping of red China who visited Vietnam in early day of 2012. This added star confessed that Vietnam is a dependent sub-country of China. In 1948, the then Communist Prime Minister Pham Van Dong had signed a diplomatic agreement to confirm Paracels Islands (that belonged to the Republic Government of South Vietnam at that time) belongs to red China! Based on this, red China seized Paracels and Spratly Islands of Vietnam and is trying to invade the whole East Sea of Vietnam at this moment.
The young generations of Vietnam, students, pupils, workers, intellectuals, religious leaders, artists, teachers, including military and government officials are now standing up in moderation to express their patriotism; but Communist Government of Vietnam suppressed them by jailing, killing and trampling on democracy, against human rights.
A young Vietnamese Songs-writer and singer, Mr. Viet Khang, created 2 songs as “Who are you? (Anh là Ai?)” and “Where is my Vietnam? (Vietnam tôi đâu?)” that strongly stirred up the requirement of Democracy, Freedom and Human Rights for Vietnam. Because of this, Communist Government catched Viet Khang and has detained many other Vietnamese Democracy and Human Rights activists in Vietnam.

Songs-writer Truc Ho of SBTN (Saigon Broadcasting Television Network) and Dr. Nguyen Dinh Thang of the Boat People SOS non-profit organization have raised a campaign for Vietnamese Americans to sign an urgent Petition on the White House Website for asking President Barack Obama, American Congress and American Government to intervene and to make strong pressure on Communist Government of Vietnam to immediately free Viet Khang and all other Vietnamese religious and democracy, human rights activists in Vietnam.
As a songs-writer and also as a Vietnamese American, I already signed this Petition and now I send you my this letter to request your Excellency President Barack Obama to act quickly to ask Communist Government of Vietnam to free Viet Khang and other Vietnamese Freedom, Democracy and Human Rights activists jailed in Vietnam. During the last historical period of more than 300 years of the United States, the highest record of a Petition was reached 40,150 signatures. The White House has informed that your Administration officials will welcome a delegation of Vietnamese American leaders to have a briefing from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on March 5th, 2012 at the “Eisenhower Executive Office Building - South Court Auditorium”. On the next day, the Vietnamese American delegation will meet with U.S. Congress. The Vietnamese American delegation will include around 100 delegates, but these leaders are selected representatives from all Vietnamese American communities throughout the United States.
On the day of the “Briefing with Vietnamese American leaders” at the White House, there will be many Vietnamese American meetings and demonstrations in different cities where crowded with Vietnamese Americans to support this Vietnamese American delegation to the White House. This is not only the reflection of the Vietnamese American communities, but it is the strong requirement for Human Rights, Freedom and Democracy for Vietnam from all Vietnamese people in Vietnam mainland as well as Vietnamese foreigners worldwide.
You’re Excellency President Barack Obama,
I understand that you are very busy and in hectic time for meetings with Israeli VIPs at this time; therefore you can not meet with Vietnamese American leaders.
My this letter is just to express my idea to you that there are about 2 Millions Vietnamese Americans here in America, and about 1.6 million Vietnamese overseas and almost more than 80 millions Vietnamese people in Vietnam mainland to expect your presence at the “briefing with Vietnamese American leaders” on the 5th of March, 2012 as a proof of your concern to increase Freedom, Democracy and Human Rights for the basic conditions to the cooperation between America and Vietnam at this time.
You came to many Town Hall meetings with American grassroots people during your last election campaign. I hope that you will consider to reserve about 5 to 10 minutes of your schedule to appear at the White House Briefing to welcome our Vietnamese American delegation because our Vietnamese Americans as well as Vietnamese people in Vietnam and Worldwide are in trust with you and believe that you are the greatest American President who will help to bring the Human Rights, Freedom and Democracy to Vietnam; and will protect Vietnam from the invasion of red China.
Please don’t despair our hope. Just 5 minutes of your presence at the Vietnamese American leaders’ briefing at the White House meeting on March 5th, 2012, you will win almost the votes from Vietnamese American voters for 2012.
